Speak English Together

Speak English Together (SET) is an international 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization where fluent English speakers (mostly in the U.S.) have video conversations with students and adults around the world who are studying English.

Our Mission

The mission of Speak English Together is to connect fluent English speakers in the United States and abroad with people studying English around the world to help them improve their English language and conversation skills. This unique opportunity will increase their chance of success in the future, with the hope of ultimately breaking the cycle of poverty. It also allows the volunteers in the United States to meet people around the world who are just like them, facilitating cultural connections.
